Mr. Leong focuses his practice on estate planning, probate, business and corporate law, and real property matters.
Mr. Leong earned his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Colorado and his Juris Doctorate in 1981from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law. He was a member of the University of Hawaii Law Review during law school. Following law school, Mr. Leong served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable James H. Wakatsuki of the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaii. Mr. Leong was admitted to practice law in the State of Hawaii and the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii in 1981.
Gregory W. K. Chee
(1956-2006)
Mr. Chee practiced in the areas of estate planning and elder law. Mr. Chee earned his undergraduate degree in history and political science from the University of the Pacific, and was a classmate of Mr. Leong's at the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1981. He is a former staff member of the University of Hawaii Law Review. Following law school, Mr. Chee served as a Law Clerk for U.S. District Court Judges Walter M. Heen and Samuel P. King. When Judge Heen was named to the State Intermediate Court of Appeals, Mr. Chee followed as his Law Clerk. In 1984, Mr. Chee followed Mr. Leong in joining what was then the Law Offices of Carroll S. Taylor.
Mr. Chee passed away suddenly in 2006. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, his two daughters, Alyssa "Makamae" and Amanda "Pualei," his mother, brother, and sister.
